I was so honored when I found out that Vh1's Janell Snowden chose to wear Ija's
white leather tassel earrings to the Vh1 Hip Hop Honors. I grew up in inner city Seattle and hip-hop was a way of life for me and is still my favorite thing to listen to. If you visit the studio on any given day you're sure to hear Tribe, De la, Black Star, Mos Def, Guru, all the way to the Fu-Schnickens. Thank you Janell for bringing Ija that close to the greats!
